DYI Airflow Director?

I want to completely block the spare space that's intended for another fan. The entire top of the case already has a dust filter but I can feel heat escaping through there. Which I know that means I have some positive pressure which is good but I'd rather that air be more directed towards my exhaust fans. Really rather not use tape because if there's any sticky edges exposed that'll collect dust.

You can simply get some black acrylic and cut to to size and mount it over the opening, either with double sided mounting tape, magnetic strips or simply bolting it into place like a fan.

I'd like to block the top, front most fan mount on my MasterCase Pro 3 to prevent dust from falling in & direct airflow more towards my exhaust fans. Currently there's 140mm Black Noctua fans in the top most rear, rear most top plus 2 in the front of my case. So there's a completely open area basically right above my RAM slots. I don't wanna use cardboard, would prefer black plastic but where would I even get that at? How would I tap the holes to thread some kind of short screws into? What could I use to prevent any vibration noises?

Welcoming any suggestions, I've been thinking about this for months on the side but haven't come to any conclusions yet so thank you all in advance!

Maybe get some black tape and tape it from the inside. You could also just add a dust filter to it to block most of the dust that could/would fall in through the open holes.

Are you just wanting to duct the airflow of the fans or to have say a physical filter on the top of the case just to simply prevent stuff from falling in when off.

There is a magnetic cover for the top vent for the Mastercase Pro 3 on the Cooler Master website store.

I only need one 140mm space blocked & interesting, according to those pics there should or can be a honey comb mesh where the front handle is? My case doesn't have that, it's just an open hole where you can see into where a fan would be. Although if I tried to block that off myself that could impede picking it up when I gotta move around for cleaning.

Now that I like, Home Depot or Lowes should carry black acrylic right? By the way at both of you, here's the exact space I'm interested in blocking along with how the gap looks from the front. But yeah the areas in red are where I'd want to mount whatever to & the yellow the space I want blocked.

I'd recommend to check for a local plastics supplier, if you provide them that top fan mount housing from the case most can even cut and fabricate you the cover with holes to bolt it into place.

As also an alternative you can just get a 140mm magnetic filter over it, blocking it off doesn't really provide a benefit as you already have positive pressure to help with dust.

I'll try that thank you, Home Depot only sells massive pieces for over $100 https://www.homedepot.com/p/48-in-x-96-in-x-118-in-Black-Acrylic-Sheet-CA2025BLK/202653706

You can find smaller pieces of acrylic on Fleabay (aka eBay) or Amazon.

you could use 3d printed parts for this. (if you have access to a 3d printer)
