Any software preferences? You could go for something with "stock" Android which could be faster, more frequently updated (improving security) and has all the main features. The alternative is a phone which has a heavily modded version of Android with some extra features which could potentially slow the device over time.

IMO at that price point, I'd go with the Nokia 6.1.

I edit my posts a lot.

I think it's Euro? €
However, it's Greece so it might be a little skewed compared to other Euro countries

sorry I got my exchange rate wrong. Get a Galaxy S7 or note 5, or a oneplus 5 with is like 305 euro on amazon, or a huawei honor 7x/mate SE or a P10 lite LG G6

IMO I would get the oneplus 5 if you decide to not eat for a day.

A future-proof Android? You’re lucky if you get any software updates 2 years after launch. Or have fun installing custom ROMs if you want the latest Android features.

IMO, try to get a used iPhone 7 or 6S. It’s an awesome phone, and more future proof than a budget Android phone will ever be. I don’t know how much they sell for in Greece. But the resale value on iPhones is something to consider.

I can vote for the new Nokias - I've got the Nokia 6 2017 and its one of the most robust phones i've had.
