1920x1080p @ 144Hz Gsync or 2560x1080p @ 60?

Eroith

So I've made a topic before discussing whether or not i should get a 240Hz monitor, and they told me to get a 144Hz GSYNC monitor. (this monitor XB240H)

But, I got my eyes on an ultrawide screen (this one U2917W ) and now im back to point 1

I CANT decide which one to get! and I cant get both of them.

I dont like 60hz which is why i wanted to upgrade to 240Hz in the first place, but then again a widescreen is absloutely awesome!

So i really need help, thanks.

What type of games do you mostly play, or what do you plan on using the monitor mostly for? High refresh rate monitors are only needed for fast paced games such as CS:GO, LoL, etc. With an ultrawide, you get to experience cinematic games such as The Witcher a lot better.

LG 29UM68-P is cheaper and better alternative for a 29 inches ultrawide, not only its IPS Matte screen is somewhat superior in colour and image quality it runs at 75hz natively.

I plan on using it for gaming, but i will watch videos and movies on them.

and i play lots of games, but Mostly GTA V and overwatch.

I dont really play csgo but sometimes, very rarely i play it when im bored and my friends are playing it.

thats basically it.

and the main reason i wanted to get a 144Hz+ monitor is because i feel extremely limited stuck at 60 FPS while my rig gets 100+ fps on MOST games.

Ill check a few stores in my country and see if even one of em sells that monitor lol.

and that doesnt really answer my question, 144Hz with gsync or ultrawide @ 60Hz?

I'd personally grab the ultrawide it seems to me all in all a better experience and value... but I'd really try switching the model to the one I told you for the extra 15hz.
