Ryzen 2600X build. First build in 6 years

Genmech

It looks good, but as PC part picker states you may need a BIOS update before that CPU will work in it, so you may want to pick up a x470 motherboard instead.

An X470 motherboard can be had for not much more than the X370 listed. I would suggest making the switch. It will relieve you of having to insure an updated BIOS and the chipset has some improvements that will help take full advantage of the cpu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Oh, and something else the 1060 6GB may be a bit slow for that processor.

thanks, The 1070 or 1080 is a little out of my price range for now so i am going to stick with the 1060 and hopefully upgrade in 2 years with something newer.

I decided for 20 bucks more to go with this, GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING (AMD Ryzen AM4/ X470/ USB 3.1 Gen 2 Front Type C/ ATX/ DDR4/ Motherboard) (https://www.amazon.com/X470-AORUS-ULTRA-GAMING-Motherboard/dp/B07BZ239Z2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1527099767&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=X470&psc=1)

Sounds great, a 1060 should get you through most games like fortnite quite nicely.
