asus b250m-a - bios 1006 - updated chipset
i7-7700k
gtx 1050 ti zotac 4gb
evga 430W
corsair veng 2133 8gb*2
windows 10 home 64 bit

i built this system on my own, first time builder and im having issues which seems almost inconsequential however i notice them

how i describe it is, "micro stutters" they're almost unnoticeable but they're there.

for example when scroll a web page quickly, the system will stutter, its like a general lack of smoothness during my experience,

if i navigate google maps quickly, the system stutters

if I open or close a fullscreen app, the system stutters,

when im playing overwatch and theres lots of movement on screen, it will stutter, but not actually drop frames

if im watching high def content (MAX 1080) and there is lots of movement on screen, the playback will stutter

even windows paint will struggle and stutter at times
-
i've had my processor replaced on warranty,

i've run stress tests using heavy load, seems fine

i've tested the health of my drive using crystal mark, seems fine

i've replaced the motherboard from a gigabyte z270 to the now installed asus b250

i don't know what else to do,

i haven't seen any typical power supply failure symptoms either but who knows

-

i really need help

its almost unnoticeable at times and at other times its severe

microsoft just tells me reinstall windows

intel replaced my cpu on warranty and still the issues persist

i already replaced the motherboard from a gigabyte z270 to the now installed asus b250

i want to send back the GPU however zotac states that if they receive it and nothing is wrong ill have to pay the shipping so..

please, let me know what information you might need to help me troubleshoot this

its hard to catch on screen captures because it happens so quickly that if you weren't paying attention you'd miss it..

PLEASE help

Try changing your power plan from balanced, or whatever it is set to, to performance.  See if that makes t hings better.  I had a similar issue once and this change fixed it.

Honestly I would monitor your cpu and gpu while doing what was causing the stutter. Then see if there is any abnormalities. I would be suspicious of the psu not supplying enough power at times.

i do this regularly,

the only weird thing i notice, the GPU will go up to 100% for no reason, for example while closing tabs, or fullscreening apps,

during overwatch the gpu doesnt drop its load nor does it reach 100%

only NORMAL and POWER SAVER are the available modes in EZ tuner

You're not in the right place

Click Start > Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings then change the power plan from Balanced to High Performance.

Don't be, the fact you built your own computer, first time and this was your only problem is nothing to be embarrassed about.

all right so i've been watching content and using the computer as usual and i've played a bit of overwatch

and changing the power management in windows has remedied some issues, however i still notice the occasional stutter (usually when during movement on screen or a camera pan) in particular videos

overwatch was playing fine for a while then i start to notice like mirco jutters. I've played overwatch on other platforms and systems for a long time so im quite sensitive to the feel and experience of the gameplay and im noticing a jutter.

please help, again.
