Ok so I have a pc and a 2008 Mac Pro at my desk and I use the Mac for a server for my pc and when I transfer a file it get 110mps then to 30-10mps can someone help me

I'm guessing that you have a mechanical hard drive in your Mac. Switching to an ssd will increase the 4k IOPS read/write speeds of the drive which should allow for higher transfer speeds for a more extended period of time. This is assuming that you did not coincidentally start overloading your home network once you started the file transfer.

I'm guessing the file transfer speeds are good while the file is being transferred to the hard drives internal cache (memory if you will). Once the cache is full and it has to actually start writing to the platter... the speeds drop off.

Well I don’t have internet at all it’s just one end of Ethernet pot in a pc to the other
