Air Cooling and fan placement

Hi Guys,

 

Another question.

 

In regards to my fan placement in my evga dg 85. it can store up to a max of 8 fans which i have places 120mm rf deep cool fans and it doesnt seem to be increasing in terms of fan cooling.

 

I'm not sure if i placed the fans in the correct rotation in the sense that i'm not sure which is side pulls air and which side pulls air.

 

like side a will te where the led side is and side b is where the frame to hold the motor is which is basically the back side of this image.

Air should flow from the front (the side where the badge of the brand is usually shown) to the back (where the fan specs are shown). I have yet to see a fan that goes the other way around.

 

In other words, the fan in the picture above is pushing air away from me.

hey jurrunio thanks for replying to my other question and to this also much appreciated.

 

so yeah um so the front will be the badge and logo with led right.

 

and the back will be where the specs of the fan is.

 

so my case config right now means its all pull air from the case my case fits 420mm fans on both top and front with a 280mm in the back.

 

my ac sits nearly above my rig.any ideas on placement of the fans like which way should it flow for the best cooling. 

 

please keep in mind all 8 fans for me currently are 120mm

Any air filters that came original with the case?

 

My instinct tells me that the top and right are all meant to be intakes while the left will be exhaust, but the exact layout depends on your room. Sitting right below the A/C means it's not getting cold air directly, so it doesnt matter.

i think ill pull from top and left making right completely for exhaust increasing my airflow rate.

I'm saying left to be exhaust just because there are less fans (2) there than other sides (3).  At all times, just make sure there is greater intake airflow than exhaust airflow

but my left is facing a wall would it make any difference?

how close? 2 inches of space is already enough as an exhaust, unless it's also a corner of the room. In that case, it can only be an intake.

it's less than two inches and is in the corner of the room. but there is still alot of spcae in between fans also since i cant utilize full space as of yet.

it's a bit moronic picture but its the closest i have to clear.

ive change the rotations to pull from top to bottom and then the 2 on the left to pull from left to right leaving the right to pull left to right.

 

re pasted my cpu with a grain of kryonaut and got a huge -10c change in temps.

 

should i stick with stock cooler from amd or go with my antec cpu cooler.

nope no reviews at all. It should be better than the stock cooler, just not by much.
