2nd GPU not detected | Litecoin mining

So I have two MSI 7950s and a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P.  MSI Afterburner only detects the first card.  BOTH cards work, I tested that.  And it's not the PCI-E slots either.  Corsair AX1200i.  Windows 7.  

CPU: i7 6850K | RAM: 64GB 3200Mhz | Mobo: EVGA Micro2 | PSU: EVGA P2 850W | GPU: EVGA 1080 Ti FE

Case: Fractal Design Node 804 | Cooler: NH-D15S

 

Storage: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB, Sandisk Ultra II 960GB

try plugging a monitor cable to both of them and connecting them to a display 

when i have problems like that, that usually fixes it

Run a program like Speccy or GPU-Z and check to see if they show up.

Speccy didn't find the 2nd card either.

Switch slots with the cards and see if it's detected.

I did.

 

Uninstall your drivers, turn off the computer, remove the second card, turn on the computer and reinstall the drivers, shut down again, reinsert card, and turn back on.

Weird, as that usually solves the issue for me when it comes to Crossfire issues.

 

The second card is seated properly in an active PCI slot with all power cables plugged in securely?

Seated and connected properly captain.

If it doesn't show in CCC then there's a big problem.

Unless I'm somehow using the wrong CCC, it doesn't tell me anything about what GPUs I'm using, and never has.

Unless I'm somehow using the wrong CCC, it doesn't tell me anything about what GPUs I'm using, and never has.

 

Go into Overdrive in CCC, should have a drop-down list of your GPUs.

Did you connect the Crossfire bridge?

Try mining with cg miner and start it with gpu-threads" : "2" and see if cg miner detects it

Well... I somehow managed to get both cards to show up , but the one card will only run at around 80kh/s.  So, I guess that means I need a spare monitor or a dummy plug.  Neither of which I have.  Awesome.
