Micro stutter with gsync on g751jt

So, yesterday gsync decided to stop working right for some reason. I was noticing significant stuttering in any game when my framerate went below my display's refresh rate. I tried the newest video driver, rolled back the driver, changed the display refresh rate, messed around with nvidia control panel settings relating to gsync, and a few other suggestions I found on some other forums like disabling origin in-game. All of this yet nothing has changed, and yes I rebooted my laptop multiple times. Any suggestions on what I should try next? I would really hate to have to re-install windows to fix it, I already had to do that last week with my desktop to fix windows apps issues. Grrrr
