Im new to this whole Pc building thing

I put my list of parts on PCPartpick.com

Im just wondering if there are any improvments or changes I can make! And some feed back on if the parts will look good together. Im not a complete noob because I watched LTT’s build guids and from other YouTubers.

no real problems for me, looks very strong. It would depend on your budget and usage case. Something you should always state in a new build thread. We see a lot of posts from people saying a need a new computer, what do you think of this? xx yy zz

but we need to know

1) Budget

2) Location

3) Primary and secondary usage

4) Any peripherals that are required such as keyboard, mouse, headset, monitor

5) OS to be used

Something is horribly wrong here...

What do you need the PC for besides gaming and what's your monitor set up?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

The 570X has clear panels on both sides. Makes it difficult to hide anything.

You might consider getting an Asus Strix GTX 1080 Ti that has Aura Sync lighting.

Crystal cases have a psu shroud so getting a white model is sort of pointless. 850W is far too large for the listed build. Get a 650W model. Seasonic Focus Plus Gold or Corsair RMx would be good choices.

Windows 10 OEM license does not allow use in DIY builds. One is supposed to get a retail version.

You can use OEM keys to activate windows 10 without issue, but you don't even need a key to install windows 10 anyways.

It's down to respecting the license or stealing.

Microsoft gives away the OS for free from their website.

They directly sell consumers OEM keys as well

Then probably go for the Ryzen 8 core or a 1950X if you want a 16 core

and you don't need to spend anywhere near that to get a decent PC.

You can just run games at 1080p, or do some 4k gaming on the 1070ti and save the rest for a next generation GPU in a few months

if i go for a Asus strix 1080ti will it have the same preformince as the EVGA FTW3?

would a 650w be enought power if I wanted to over clock?

then how would I install windows?

With high end gpu the performance differences are small. However, cooling and noise profiles can be quite different. Check out https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/2905-asus-1080-ti-rog-strix-review-vs-ftw3-gaming-x/page-2 and https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3141-the-best-gtx-1080-ti-graphics-cards-designs-asus-vs-evga-msi.

Yes, 650W is more than enough to handle overclocking.

One can buy a Windows key with a USB drive. Or buy just the key and then download Windows to your own USB drive. https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10
