Worth to buy GPU from a friend?

My friend has a Gtx 960 FTW Edition 2GB Vram.
He said he would sell it to me (used) for about 150$ USD
Should I haggle down or just forget it??

150 USD is too high for a 960 2Gb, don't get it for anything below 90-100 USD.

 

Buying GPUs from friends in general is usually a good idea, as long as they give you a good deal.

I believe around 120$ given how prices are right now is the right value, it is more or less how much a brand new GT 1030 is going and the 960 is like a GTX 1050 Ti though with 2gb of VRAM less... so doing the math yeah... around 120$ seems fair.

$150 is wayyy too much. as Crunchy Dinosaur said don't pay more than $90-$100.
