Android - Any way to fix a corrupt system partition?

Hi all,

I have rooted my OnePlus 3T (with android 7.1.1 and OxygenOS 4.5.1) and installed xposed. After a while I wanted to use Snapchat (Yes, all in the name of Snapchat.) and I couldn't log in so I tried to unroot and uninstall xposed, but as I quilcky found out was that my system partition is corrupt.... The phone still boots and operates fine, however I can't unroot....... Any suggestions?

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

if your phone boots and operates fine I am %100 certain your system partition is fine, if your system partition were to be corrupted your phone wouldnt boot.

Ok then start by telling if you used systemless xposed (aka magisk xposed), then the error that app gives then the logcat :):)  also you posted this in the wrong section :):):)

Now, I can't remember if it's systemless, but here's the error log:

It's not corrupt it's in read only mode. If you have root access mount it in rw mode

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.

rw mode? As in Recovery mode with TWRP? If that' the case I get the same error when I try it there...

rw mode = read write mode.

open terminal:

su

  1. Choose one: (for security mount /system back to RO when finished)

    • Mount system RW: mount -o rw,remount /system
    • Mount system RO: mount -o ro,remount /system

Computer users fall into two groups:
