i have a korean monitor from 2014 (a qnix), i was able to get windows to punch my monitor into 120hz but then it just slopes back to 60hz; i haven't messed with it in a while but thats what happen to me and my brother who also has a korean monitor

My highest monitor OC has been 60hz to 75hz. I see that you're getting a 1080p 75hz panel soon, but I don't recommend overclocking it. Colours on my monitor got messed up while overclocked and frankly the overclock wasn't worth it in exchange for a shorter monitor lifespan.

I overclocked mine to 180hz but it is pretty much unnecessary 

CPU - INTEL CORE i5-8400 @ 2.80GHz (6CPUs)

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

RAM - 16GB
