Hey guys, I am trying to find a case preferably that is horizontal, can support either a custom open loop for 1 graphics card and an 8700k CPU, or maybe a 240mm aio for the CPU and 120mm for a hybrid graphics card (thinking EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 hybrid) and also has front-panel USB type C.

I'm having difficulty finding horizontal cases that have any real radiator support at all. Most of the cases that would provide good airflow for radiators are upright towers, and since tempered glass is the big thing these days most cases in general are covered in glass panels everywhere which isn't good for any airflow at all.

Anybody have any good suggestions I should consider?

Basically specs will be: z370 board, 8700k, preferably 4 DIMM slots for 32gb ram, probably a 1080Ti, might swap one of my Titan V's instead if I can't ever get the NVLink working, 2tb 860 EVO Samsung SATA SSD, spare Corsair HX1000i PSU I have from the old build.

I figured a 240 AIO would be fine for the 8700k, and an EVGA 1080 Ti hybrid would be fine since this is going to mostly be used as an HTPC, 2nd rig for friends to play games on my TV (don't have a spot to set up a 2nd desk so it will be connected only to a 75" 1080p 120Hz TV).

Case suggestions anybody?

The issue is less finding a horizontal case (Thermaltake Core X5 is a good one) and more finding one thats got a USB type c connector, which AFAIK no horizontal case has been released implementing Type C since it's launch as a connector. Plus horizontal layouts tend to be FAR larger than their vertical brethren.

I think you're right on that one.

Was willing to give up the front-panel USB-C connector if everything else checks out and found the Lian Li PC-07S but they're out of stock everywhere :(

Yeah that was a case made in 2015 or 2016 I believe, Lian li has discontinued that case since then. :/
