Meshify C Air Flow

Hello, I have a few question about Air flow, more specifically how should I set up my air flow in the Meshify C? I want to use 4x120mm fans and 2x140mm, with the Corsair h115i Pro 280mm liquid cooler.

I want to go with one of corsairs RGB fans, not sure if I should go with HD or the LL series fans? i'l have to set some of them as intake and the back bracket will be showing.

I have attached 4 idea Sketches for Air flow below.

A: Always keep the PSU as intake and exhaust out the back where possible. It's generally better for your whole system.

B: Ignore the bottom intake/exhaust fan option. You have to remove the HDD cages to use it, and even if you do, it doesnt help much relative to how it pushes half the air into the bottom of the PSU shroud and will most likely have wires running all over the fan which is less of an "airflow concern" and more of a "wires near spinning blades" issues. Save it for a hard drive or extra cable management.

C: Rear fan should always be exhaust since it's un filtered. The top can be either intake or exhaust technically since it has a filter. That being said....

D:

Two 140mm intakes and a 120mm rear exhaust is generally the "optimal" configuration, as having too many intakes or too many exhausts have their own issues, and having more fans has diminishing airflow returns but a static increasing amount of noise.

The HD fans AFAIK only has LED's on the outer ring, the LL has LED's inside the fan hub.

Yeah I would slow down on the fans there buddy,

Most systems run one extractor at the back and two fans in the front.

Personally, I hate top fans as when the PC is off they let so much dust in.

Here is a better setup that won't sound like a hovercraft.

Thank for all the Info! I will use the PSU as a intake and exhaust like you said, I will take out the bottom fan (I just thought because I had extra stock fans i would fill up some spots).

I will leave the 2 in the top as exhaust but i'l use corsairs fan software to slow down the 2 top fans so I don't have negative pressure and so it wont sound so loud. I also want to keep them for aesthetics to keep my PC looking nice.

Which Fans should I use, because when I put the 2 Fans on the radiator the back bracket of the fans will be showing. I cant decide If i should use the LL series fans with the Black back bracket, or the HD series fans with the see-through back bracket with a black wire showing.

I agree with TVwazhere. These LTT videos advocate a balanced flow as well.

I have a Meshify C case with two 140mm front for intake, and two 120mm top + one 120mm rear exhaust. PSU intakes from bottom to exhaust at the rear. 3.5" HDD cage removed for PSU cables to fit.

That's up to you to decide. I'm not an expert or a real fan *badum tiss* of RGB peripherals and accessories so i dont have good advice for that. I can only tell you the differences (and similarities I guess)

Fair enough RGB isn't for everyone, I myself am not a hug fan I just like that i can pick a solid color and change it whenever I feel like it.

Thanks for all your help and clarification!

Much appreciated!
