I have a Fractal R5 can and need to replace a few fans, my rig is used in my audio studio so the fans need to be real quiet dose anyone have any suggestions I need 120mm

usually the ones from noctua a pretty quit and good performance.

i spent $3500(23,000dkr.) on building my pc and i only play csgo on low settings..

if you want complete silence youshould also set a custom fan curve, so you can have the case fans turn off when under light loads and stuff like that. SpeedFan is a good program for this.

I have done this but through the BIOS profiles... my case fans were a  bit more loud than they needed to be stressing the system some like gaming, making them go slower actually had no impact on temperatures while provided a gain in silence ^^

Noctua fans, I didn't believe my ears after I swapped out mine for Noctuas and fired up the computer.

Keep in mind that while fan noise is a factor, there's a few other factors that affect how much noise you hear. These include where the case is relative to you, if there's something between you and the case, and if any exhaust channels have a direct path to you.

 

For example, I used to have a PC in a Silverstone Fortress FT-02. It was under my desk, which was really an IKEA table. I couldn't hear the thing unless I went under my desk.

What are your specs? Why 120mm?

                       ULTRA 850W Fully Mod PSU

                       EVGA GForce GTX 960 SSC

                       Toshiba Ultra m.2 with Windows 10 Pro

                       4-4TB HDD in Raid 10

ASUS 28" 4k UHD Monitor (main)

VIZIO 43" 4k UHD Monitor (Secondary)

 

I want to use 140mm fans looking at 2 front 2 Bottom and 2 top
