Razer Phone not receiving android oreo 8.x in UK

My network '3' have announced via twitter that the android oreo update has been delayed due to sim and network issues. Here are the tweets from the '3' network:

As someone who literally got my Razer Phone 4 days ago hoping the oreo update would fix some issues this is a little disheartening. 

 

Does anyone have a Razer Phone with oreo on it? How has yours performed? Have you had any issues with the sim card and network not being registered issue?

I don't have a Razer Phone but I do have a Sony Xperia XZ Premium with Oreo and it's been very stable since the upgrade.
