Where to Plug in Pump and Fans With Kraken G10

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

You can plug them into a fan header on your motherboard or to the psu with a molex adapter. Alternatively, you can use a vga fan adapter.

Hi all! I have had a NZXT Kraken G10 sitting on my parts shelf for a while from back when I gave up due to new GPUs being released. I finally want to set it up and remembered that the fan header is a VGA type (I think) and won’t plug in to your typical mobo header. With the Kraken G10 you have 2 fans (1 for rad and 1 for bracket/vrm) I would like to know where to plug in these fans and pump. I have a splitter lying around somewhere I’m my messy cables bin so I could use that if needed. Thanks for any help! :) -Aedan

Thanks! If I used the motherboard header obviously i wouldn’t have to worry about pump and bracket fan but for the radiator fan how would I set it to ramp up when GPU gets hotter?

You can use software like SpeedFan or use a vga fan adapter. Alternatively, you can stress test the graphics card and set a static rpm for the fan.
