How to set up this workstation?

I am setting up a workstation for my friend. It is a Xeon E5 2620v4 with 32GB of RAM (ECC) - he owns a design studio with a lot of hardware doing engraving, printing, etc. he wants to run a RAID array in his computer. RAID 6 with 5 hard drives of 4TB each. He wants his employees to be able to access this. What is the best way to do this? How do you set up a RAID6 array under Windows 10? Or should it be dual booted or something like that? Thanks.

So your just running windows 10?

Id use storage spaces mirror.

Yea its not raid 6, but raid 10/mirror is a good amount faster and you don't loose much extra space(2.5 vs 3 drives of capicity. And its easier to expand.

Stay away from the motherboard raid, its normally pretty baid.

as he wants others to access this data as well the best way is probably to simply purchase a NAS from Synology or Qnap and set it up as network shares.

this is a good start to have the data in a central place but dont forget to make backups possibly offsite
