Thank you kindly, Windows can be used for free for the matter shouldn't be the first thing for him to worry about, same thing with peripherals he can game just fine with cheap stuff save to buy later which would be much easier than upgrading hardware thus why I believe trying to fit this 1070 Ti from start would be very beneficial for 144hz gaming and would save money in way.

I'd rather have an SSD and add RAM later.

It's pretty much the same build as yours, just that you swapped the SSD for more RAM.

If I went as much over-budget as you did, I could get 16GB in as well. You just didn't stick to the budget, and failed to put an SSD which is a game changer for daily usage.

I also thought that you needed a mouse to use a computer.

No. My build is better. 144Hz with GTX 1060 doesn't make sense and it's waste of money

At least he can actually enjoy his 144Hz monitor with my build, rather than yours which 144Hz monitor is completely useless using GTX 1060

And yet you couldn't even get a gaming mouse in there.

Lol.

I can fully enjoy my 144Hz monitors with an RX 580 (which is pretty much a 1060).

I might not get 144 FPS on High AAA titles, but with FPS games such as Rainbow Six Siege, CSGO, etc. it would work as well.

Just stop cheaping out on stuff to get a better GPU and still go over-budget by £100.

Yeah......

He didn't get the ram correct...(2400mhz..lol?)

No SSD....

No mouse....

Hey Od1sseas......just getting a better GPU doesn't mean u HV a better build...

U HV to cover all the corners that are asked to be covered....

Moreover...this pc isn't fr u ...it's fr the OP... So plz consider the reliability factor...

Have fun getting over 100 frames in the next 3-4 years. My build at least will last much longer

Yeah....SSD does give more fps ..

Try playing one game on an SSD ND compare it side to side with a 5400rpm drive ...

U'll notice that 5400rpm drive will take more time to load the textures....

Also it reduces the loading time significantly...
