It looks good to me, assuming that you have an HDD lying around for more storage.

why not wait for the new ryzen line up? its already out for preorder. similar price with better performance.

A Ryzen 5 2600 would come with a worse cooler (Stealth) and it will be priced much higher than a 1600. I would not buy a new CPU at release.

I would do something like this... Saving up a bit on Windows (maybe get it elsewhere where it's cheaper...).

16GB dual-channel and a 1070 for $70 more. Otherwise you could remove the SSD altogether and get it later. I would do it for a better GPU and more RAM.

I would spend a little bit more on the SSD to get an M.2. It's definitely worth it as it makes cable management so much easier by getting rid of the need for the cords leading to it. Plus they're faster. It's a little bit more but so much more worth it imo, and I will never go back to using regular SSD's or HDD's for my main builds. Also I'd suggest getting your Win 10 from Kinguin and save about $80 to either put back in your pocket or get a better cooler.

thanks, and yeah I was planning on buying more storage down the line.

Do look at the part list I made in a second post. The 1070 and the 16GB of RAM would be a nice addition :)
