Intel Xeon E5-2650 Sandy Bridge-EP 2.0 GHz 8 x 256KB L2 Cache 20MB L3 Cache LGA 2011 95W SR0KQ Server Processor

should work on many x79 board, but they really aren't that fast and a ryzen 3 will be faster in most desktop uses.

Thats a no name board, your much better off getting an used name brand board from someone like asus, supermirco, gigabyte, or others.

What programs are you using? What are you doing?
