technically... YES

 

İn the human history some viruses have killed more then 5% of the worlds population in a mounth

University of Miami's Martin Andreansky and most of the scientists of modern genetic engineering belive you can play around with the generic-code of the virus or even two viruses and turn it into a ''zombie virus'' now the word zombie means 'undead' right? well what is beign 'dead'? when a human dies there will be milions of bacterials remaining their daily life inside your body while you are 'dead' so beign dead is not actually beign totally 'dead' it is your brain shutting it self down causing every muscle in your body to stop working, if you need to kill some just take their brains and take it home they wont recover from it, anyways back to topic there are some neurons that are connected to back of your nose 'what they do?' they control your nervous system and your feeling of hunger, and turn you into a rabid human, lets take a rabid animal for example; they are REALLY offensive to any other animal, they stay in the dark, and the virus spreads by biting another possible carrier (all the other animals inc. humans) well what is the virus; the virus attacks the neurons that control the nervous system and the feeling of hunger... a modern genetic engineer said (the name is anonymus) ''you would be suprised if you knew how easy it would be to create a zombie virus''

i dont think the zombies we see in the movies will ever become a reality as in bringing back the dead however this could be plausible on a living host so really they are still alive but rabid. although these arnt technically zombies they are probably as close as you can get. so in other words infect one normal human being with the virus and then it will spread like a regular zombie apocalypse the only difference will be is that they will have to eat drink breathe sleep just like normal humans. if you are confused by what i am sayi8ng take a look at 28 days late and 28 weeks later that will clarify things more.
