Quick screen freezing when gaming every 10-20 seconds

11killer34

My setup:

i7 4790k - hyper 212 evo

gtx 1080 - asus strix a8g (new card - bougt it week ago)

8 gb ram - ballistix sport ddr 3 1600 mhz

ssd kingston - 128 gb

hdd - firecuda 2tb (game installed)

motherboard h81 probtc

PSU- corsair cx750

case - rl06

network card - Archer T8E AC1750

When i game i get very quick almost not noticable (but noticable) screen freezes. I monitored and i dont get gpu performance drops, my processor also looks fine. The hard drive is also new. Windows 10 is up to date. Drivers are fine. Perhaps motherboard, PSU or ram issue? what do you guys think? I think that screen freezes come when i run or drive to new areas of map, is that possible? Mostly i play fortnite.

Visible on video, slight jump in picture from 17-19 sec of video.

it could be the harddrive taking its time to load the needed files, watch the hdd utilization it might show you the problem

Are you using a mining mobo? , if it isnt the hard drive look on bios for pre oc'ed settings ,make default if u see something odd

I noticed that my power supply have constant buzz, but only when i start gaming. When screen freezes at the same time power supply buzzes higher and then buzzing returns back to "normal" buzzing. So should i suspect PSU or motherboard ? I also noticed when i try to turn on my camera from front usb port on my case my computer crashes.

I think if it were the psu u will notice first as some random reboot or bluescreen, it seems that or ur hdd is slow (have u tried to install it on ssd?) or ur ram/mb has some issues , (8gb ram 1 stick?) i have same cpu with a 1070 and i play fortnite and pubg without issues , i had a problem with constant freezes playing pubg with some background programs (like some chrome webs or youtube) on my 2nd screen? , do u have 2 screens ? , are you runing any programs on background? , i solved that issue putting my game on borderless windowed (try that)

My computer did crash time to time for no reason. Its annoying even if i pull chrome tab from 1 monitor to another i can hear buzzing, which never happened before, its like it is becoming even worse with time. I tried closing all app, i putted low settings, nothing worked. I tried, with pulling out 1 monitor so i have only 1 and it didnt work

The buzzing doesn't really mean anything, it could just be vibrating if not screwed in tightly. When you boot up a game the buzzing gets louder due to the PSU being used more which means it moves more? make sure its secured tightly. As for your freeze frame, it could be that you need more ram? Do you run a bunch of programs while playing zed game?
