I had a Pentium 4 way back, never had an AGP card though.

I have a Rage iiC that seems to neither fit into an agp port, nor PCI. Not sure what else it would've fit.

Yeah, I have one. A PNY GeForce 6200LE w\256 MB DDR2 ram. It was part of my old Gateway 600LE I gutted in preparation for a new build I;m still getting the parts together for. I might reuse it in a future Win 98/XP build with the rest of the old 600LE guts depending on how compatible it is with the older (Win 98/Late DOS) stuff. Have to replace a bunch of caps on the Mobo before I can do anything with it, though.

This may sound crazy, but with the IIC, it may be Apple 2C compatible.

This thing? Would being Apple 2C compatible make this card "special" in any way to warrant the term "crazy"?

Edit: since the chip actually says agp, pretty sure this isn't anything out of the ordinary. Maybe just a different agp version, as the only board I have with agp is from 2003, vs whatever 90s year this card was made.

Edit 2: Apparently, AGP was a fairly convoluted standard as there were differently keyed variations depending on the voltage. This card is keyed for 3.3 volt AGP, as it would seem.

It isn't actually Apple 2C?  Oh, wait, why were there multiple AGP?

The reason why being Apple II compatible would warrant the term "crazy" is because the Apple II is an 8-bit line.

There are cards keyed for 3.3v, and cards keyed in reverse for 1.5v. And there are cards keyed for ports of both kinds. Evidently, there were also 2 different agp ports, one each for 3.3v and 1.5v. The board I have on hand is of the 1.5v variety, so old 3.3v cards, such as the Rage iic will not fit.
