Hello, I am looking to start my build in like 2 weeks and just found out there's a deal for 1070 ti

EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti SC Gaming Dual-Fan 8GB GDDR5 PCIe Video Card

499$ + 8% purchase tax. (USD)

Is it worth grabbing now? It's just 50$ over MSRP which I would think is great.

My build's gonna be ~1500 (with monitor included) and I'm trying to get best deal while maxing out components.

Current build estimate reference https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zF6why

For $500 USD (I'm assuming it's USD), this 1070 ti deal looks great.

Seems like a pretty good deal, plus it's EVGA.

If that's the performance level you're aiming for, go for it.

Though we're likely only 2 months away from the 1100 series. Something to consider.

Won't they be priced higher than last gen 1000 series for same performance just because they are gonna be new? And waiting game is evil, I guess every two months something new comes up and you can keep on waiting :D

Kind of true, but generational GPU improvements are every 2 years ;)

They might, they might not. No one can predict the future with pricing. If you have something you can use now I'd just wait and see what happens.

Worst case scenario the 1070Ti gets cheaper because it's now "old."
