Ok so I check on my art and speed paint videos and it’s all corrupted but all my new files are not at all but my old files are corrupted. What happened?

We're gonna need *way* more info than this to help you.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

one (or several) of possibilities. bad write, power fluctuation, failed sector, i mean the list really is enormous as to what causes file corruption.

I think your PC was invaded by the Syrian government. Only that scenario will lead to that much corruption.

When you change the file format for a storage capacity from one type to another, it reformats it which erases the data on the drive. You may be able to recover it using one of the many downloadable DIY tools, including our DIY Recovery Software here

For yourself and for anyone else who'd like the info for reference, there are ways of making your HFS+ (Mac preferred format) data accessible in Windows & make your NTFS (Windows preferred format) data accessible via Mac without reformatting, a driver called Paragon, and you can find it here

Wait, did you reformat the drive with data on it but the intention to retain all of your data? o.O

Formatting a drive will lost all data on it. If these files are not damaged, you can try scanning your drive with some data recovery software, here i'd like to recommend minitool data recovery software.

By the way, corrupt data could not be repaired, at least third party data recovery program can't repair them.
