My dad buys and sells audio gear in the $4,000+ a piece range, so ive heard.my fair share to know.

 

30 year old audio gear and new-15 year old audio gear is mostly mediocre though.

Hell Yeah, I've got a pair of JBL K2's which are almost 20 years old... Still sounding good!
