Ryzen 3 budget build

I am building a ryzen 3 1200 budget pc, I'll take 8gb ddr4 ram , 450 watt psu , a case , 1tb hdd what i am confused about is the motherboard asrock b350 pro4 vs msi b350m mortar vs asus prime b350 plus, i am also thinking of overclocking.

Asus one is the best when it comes to performance and BIOS, though after considering price most people end up with the Asrock one. MSI motherboards for AMD CPUs are worse than others, so not my pick.

Many consider Ryzen 3 2200G to be superior to Ryzen 3 1200 for the same price. And what gpu for the 1200?

I would personally go for one of the APUs right now, they are much more budget friendly. So something like this for example. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r7jvWD

 

Just add a case of your choice. Check with the retailer first if it comes with the latest bios.

Pretty much how I choose my boards most of the time. Been using asrock for years and they've never let me down.

Besides the bioos flash thing, that bloody thing never works.

Old school USB memory stick method works, and that's enough.

Gt 1030 or gtx 1050 is on the top of the list

don't bother with the 1030, either go with a 2200G with a 2800-3200mhz kit or just get a gtx 1050.

2200G/1200 with a 1050 will perform the best if you can afford it.

exactly. Zen+ based APU will come just before Zen 2 based Ryzen, if the same trend continues. The current APUs are here to stay with 4 core CPUs no longer being produced..
