Water cooling my 980 - with a CPU block.

I want to cool my reference 980 like the one in the picture, but I am struggling to find a block for one. It has to be:

Preferably 30mm or less tall.

Have tubing that comes out at 90 degrees so it does not interfere with the low height.

I don't care about aesthetics.

I'd like a single radiator.

I don't want to use an adapter. I like the look of a reference card.

If you know of one, please tell me what it is called and where I can get it.

Thanks.

The one in the photo is a 740 GN by Asetek

I'm not sure of where to buy one.

Been don't done with universal vga blocks from ek. You would need an external pump though. Requires a bit of work but someone on here did an amazing write up on it.

Also, do any 980 owners know if whatever part of the cooling apparatus that touches the actual GPU is copper or aluminium, because I want to know whether or not I can use liquid metal if I stay air cooled. Cheers.

You can always use 980ti\titan block from EK on Reference 980, there are almost identical, except the cold plate for the VRAM is slightly longer there are plenty of them on ebay and if you look for it you can find one for around $20-25

Maybe you can trying going with a NZXT Kraken G12 and a 120mm AIO? (Corsair H55?)

NVM, i didn't notice that you said you preferred the stock look of the reference cooler.

Wouldn’t bother wasting money on lm for a gpu. Pretty sure the vapor chamber is aluminum, the fins are but they could have switched materials.
