Can a GTX 1060 3gb handle duel 1080p monitors?

Hi. So ive got a gtx 1060 3gb and a Ryzen 5 1600. I was wondering if i could get two 75hz 1080p monitors. One for gaming and the other for chrome and discord and stuff like that. Would the 1060 be able to handle it without losing too much fps in gaming?

You don't really lose any FPS, running the second monitor takes next to nothing resource wise.

If it's only in Windows and not rendering any 3D objects, it will not affect gaming performance. And if it's gonna affect it it's gonna be very very minimal. You are not gonna see it. No problem on using 2 screens.

Running a second monitor will not impact your GPU in any significant way but just be careful what you have open on it cause if you're short on RAM or haven't got a lot of cores you could affect your games in other ways through diverting resources from your games to way too many chrome tabs. I use my GTX 960 for this exact purpose and while my Ryzen 5 1600 and 16GB of RAM don't care what i put on the second monitor, my 8 GB of RAM and my Athlon 860K did care. I don't know your system but bear it in mind.

Chrome will effect it regardless of how many monitors you are running. Streaming will also effect it even more so. Second monitor isn’t gonna do much however.
