Yeah, a 1070 ti is a bit much for 1080p, unless it's a higher refresh rate.

With Ryzen, I would try for higher memory speeds, but since it has a heat spreader, unless you get kicked by the silicon lottery, you should be good.
I would swap out the 1tb for a 2tb, the price difference is starting to go down.

Are you wanting to cut 100$ off? if so try get 300Mhz RAM and 2Tb HDD, If you don't need perfect RGB sync you can get an S340 Elite which is very similar to an H700I but without Hue+

No, I just want to see if the parts are good for the price. Bang for my buck, so to speak.

I don't see the reason for the H7 over the stock Ryzen cooler. Case also seems quite overkill, something around $100 would probably be ok. I would also recommend you get a better motherboard for a 1700; preferably something like an x370 prime pro.

Also, AMD should be launching Ryzen 2 in around 2 weeks so you should probably wait for that.

Side note, what is the pc for?

Case is overpriced.

PSU is from a trusted brand but you could prob save a bit.

GPU is overpriced but that is fault of dumb miners, not yours.

CPU if this is for mostly gaming, you're not gaining anything over the cheaper 1600.

Motherboard as long as the ratings are fine, not a fan of MSI boards from personal experience.

Ram too slow for Ryzen, shoot for at least 3000mhz - can always OC the set though.

HDD eh, it's a basic drive, but taking the above into consideration can add more budget to get a 250GB SSD to add as boot drive.

CPU Cooler this is a nice choice for a budget cooler, you could actually use the stock AMD cooler for a bit since it's actually good to save here.

"Power upgrades" don't throw away your initial budget on this, get this stuff AFTER the build is done later on.

Software You can get Windows keys for less.

Side note, I'd wait till the Ryzen refresh before you bought anything.

IMO the MSI BIOS is very user friendly which would help alot for OC

Last MSI board I used had really funky looking BIOS, but that was for a 2500k lol. Been using Asrock these days for all the builds in this house and has been working out so far. ?

It's fine... if you're not OCing. Plan on OCing? At least get a better B350 board; preferably get a decent x370

I wouldn't recommend it when you can get a pro4 for cheaper or a strix for the same price.

Do not get MSI AM4 motherboards (unless you are going with their flagship one).

Asus Prime boards are a much better bang for the buck.
