Galaxy s9 Plus or Note 9?

jasonwj322a

I currently have a Galaxy s7 edge. Great phone but its getting a bit hideous as time passes, definitely slower than it was new and battery life is abysmal.

Now I'm thinking if I should get a Galaxy s9 plus or wait for the Note 9. I'm not in a rush to get a new phone so I'm willing to wait if it comes down to it. I do have a long family trip this August so having a new phone by then would be nice but I realized that the Note series are usually announced/released in August.

What do you guys think? Would the wait be worth it? How much different is it anticipated to be?

If you want a new phone then I'd recommend getting the S9 Plus.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

If you can wait for note 9, yes it will be better than s9.

At least it will have the same dynamic aperture camera.

Other than that a stylus.

What do you mean? The Note battery life is inferior to the S series?

Do you like big phones? Rumors so far point to the Note9 getting a small bump in screen size over the Note8. Which will put it into a very large body. I didn't mind the Note5, but I think the route they've gone has now excluded the Note for me personally; it's just too big. The other plus of the Note is of course the stylus. If you can do without that, I'd go with the S9+.

If you're not set on Samsung, there's loads of other phones on the horizon that might be pretty interesting.

True, but to be fair the Note still gets pretty good battery life; better or on par with a lot of other flagships.

Still, I wish for such a large device they'd put something like a 4500mah battery in. I know, it'll be slightly thicker or heavier. But it's for power users FFS.
