To me the solid panels were more like a blank canvas. You can easily get them cut and makes your build even more unique. Downside is that it adds to the cost of the case, but you shouldn't go with such an expensive case anyways when you're on a budget imo.

Here is mine for example:

To me this is still a negative. Yes it's an artistic expression piece for sure, and the cases I've seen with custom cut out designs look great, but people have to pay (or DIY) extra on a case to make it functional, especially at such a high price to begin with.  I'm okay with this case if thats what they so desire, but the problem is most people dont realize that when they're looking for a case. If it didnt have the airflow issues, no question it would be in my top recommended list of cases.

Can't argue with you on that. I also discovered the flaws of this case later on (bought it almost 2 years ago). Personally wouldn't recommend it either, I've even advised many people against getting this case because of the problem and informed them of the additional cost of fixing it. It was already too late for me so I had the choice of modifying this one or getting something else and I chose the first because of it's excellent build quality and it would've cost me more to change cases.

I thought about a mod like this as well. Looks pretty awesome! But Imagine them just selling swappable front plates with different designs. That would be dope

@Mnpctech does. They're one of the only readily available aftermarket solutions for it I know of

Thank you for the heads up @TVwazhere  Mnpctech EVOLV front panels improve airflow, but the look is purely "purpose built" and subjective to personal tastes here, goo.gl/uNmLnb

"coolest case" is entirely subjective to individual tastes, system configuration and environment. I suggest surfing newegg under the specs you need and decide for yourself what you like :-) that being said, I still love the look of the old Apple G5 cases and need to mod the one donated to me with ATX conversion, https://mnpctech.com/clearance/apple-powermac-g5-desktop-case-only-used.html
