So as a college student I am going to build my first PC, with 1200-1300 budget, I cannot decide which graphic card I want consider the retarded high price of them right now. So with majoring 3D modeling in Rhino3D and rendering in v-ray and Blender, plus Photoshop and Illustrator. And besides that, I want to play video game with mid-high setting with 60 fps on my free time, the highest performance needed one I guess its PUBG and GTA V. Working ratio to gaming ratio is about 70 to 30.

With this saying, what will be a better option? Nvidia Quadro p1000 or GTX 1060 6GB.

P1000 right now cost me $320 ish and 1060 6gb cost about $350.

So my question is is P1000 worth for my need? Considering the price of buying a 1060 with $350 I think it just kind of too much. What do you guys think?

You might have some issues running games on a P1000 because of drivers. Unless your doing some serious work and really need the power, I would say getting a 1060 would be good.

Gaming - Ryzen 9800X3D | 64GB 6400mhz cl30 9070 XT

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

3970X/256GB - 5950X/128GB ECC - 5600G/96GB - 3400GE/16GB - 3400GE/16GB

In gaming the P1000 is a LOT weaker, in Quadro certified applications (Adobe suite isn't, mind you) the P1000 can beat a 1080.

Gaming wise, the P1000 is basically a GTX1050 with 4GB VRAM.

That said, I don't see any applications that would clearly benefit from a low end quadro like this. The raw horsepower advantage of the 1060 will suit you better.

You can still overclock it to match its GTX equivalent.

Clock speed isn't the main difference. Again, the P1000 is a GTX1050, which is less than half as powerful as the 1060 6GB. Plus, like I mentioned, his workflows don't benefit from a Quadro because no CAD is involved and as a student, projects stay small.

Well in his case I'd go for a GTX 1050Ti and spend the extra dosh on pizza and hookers.

Seriously though it has great CUDA Acceleration, driver certification only makes sense on the utmost high end of workloads the way I feel about it.

I paid about $380 for my 1070 plus a little bit of tax. If OP waits a little but for prices to calm down (most 1070s are below $500, which is good) some more, he can get a 1070 for a decent price, especially since miners will be offloading them by truckload once Volta comes out.
