Hello,

I finally decided to build my own pc.due to me being a noob, I had to watch many youtube videos and googling stuff and I came up with these components that you can see in the picture.

It is mainly for gaming, and if you are wondering why the intel optane, it's just for the OS to be happy.

Is it a good build or should I change it?

I hope you help me.

Thank you.5ab9f0380ec7f_ScreenShot2018-03-27at12_29_49AM.thumb.png.dc44e6bc7199fbd929337956c1dad3d5.png5ab9f0346c618_ScreenShot2018-03-27at12_18_57AM.png.44aa01aab77cc832d77900cbccb5aadd.png

Optane is useless if you have a SSD. It only works on the boot drive.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

it depends on the prices you can get it for. The GPU is probably overprices and not worth buying now if you can wait. Intel Optane is definitely not worth it

unfortunately if I'm going to wait then it'll be years until prices drop. I will remove the optane and increase the SSD's size.

Don't get the Z370-H. It's an overpriced piece of crap. If you want a decent board, get something like the Prime-A, Strix F, Extreme4, Gaming M5 or Pro Carbon.

Change the PSU to a good 450-550W unit, like the TXM, RMx, Focus Plus Gold, Focus Plus, Whisper M, Straight Power 11, G2/G3 or Leadex Gold/II.

Don't get an Optane drive. It's stupid. Hair get a decent SSD for the OS and some games. The UV400 is crap, get a decent drive like the 850/860, SL308, MX300 or MX500.

Consider changing the AiO to a good air cooler, as it will be more reliable, quieter, and cool mostly as well.

The S340 doesn't have particularly good airflow. Consider something like the Meshify C or Enthoo Pro M.

:)
