I am having a WD Green 120GB Internal Solid State Drive (WDS120G1G0A)

I bought it from amazon well the read speed on sata 2 if fine (around 250mbps)
but the write speed is very low when I run Blackmagic disk speed test the write starts from 150 and goes . down constantly to 60 - 70
Please tell me what to do?
Is the product defective ?
It was shipped on 21st March 2018 (this month) and is almost empty.

Keep in mind, the advertised speeds are sequential read/writes.

It will be lower with random read/writes.

Depending on the block size, that is around right:

First of all thanks for your concern

But don't you think that 90mbps for an SSD is pretty slow.

and I am using the the same programme for test then why a huge difference?

often then the speed you see listed in benchmarks is for burst into the slc cache. Once you fill up the cache that is a normal speed. Also smaller drives will be slower, so this seems fine here.
