Angry Cup O Joe V2.0

Skiiwee29

I set out to upgrade my GPU cooling form stock fan with the MSI Gaming X 1070 to a water block which I got from Phanteks since their blocks allow the use of the stock back plate. Overall, I am very happy with the build and took me about 7hrs in total to re-do last night. Only thing I am not happy with is I broke a Corsair ML140 Pro fan (Thankfully it wasnt needed) and one tube/fitting run from the CPU outlet to the front 240mm rad. Other than that, it is amazing and have gained about 50-75mhz on my GPU from not thermal throttling back with GPU Boost 3.0 to run at 2113 stable now and 50mhz on my CPU to run at 4050 stable. Here are some before and after shots.

Very impressive, I particularly like the lighting. Sad to hear about your ML fan, any chance you can RMA it?

nah, it was my fault. it had been installed for quite some time so it was stuck to my case and as I was pushing on it to break it loose, one of the cross 4 x beams to hold support snapped off. The fan still spun when I would wing it manually, but not going to trust it in my system. I dont need it anyways since I cant have a fan install in the rear of the case anyways unless I were to buy a slim fan and would use it as extra intake if anything.

Nice! What kinda mods do you have on the case? Anything for intake/exhaust? Also like the clean tubing runs. Also I really love this case!

I have the @ModMyMods-Brennen top cover like yours, but I have a @Mnpctech mod for my front intake. Its just a thick piece of acrylic with slots cut in it to allow ventilation. Its a super sexy case, but its designed with show piece setup instead of actual functionality. Sucks that ive spent so much on mods, Top/Front/Tempered Glass that I really cant justify a diff case at the cost ive put into this thing already over the past 1 1/2 years. I added Tempered glass to it recently as it was an Acrylic original side panel but my old tubing rubbed on it and gouged it a bit so there would have been a scratched section of it that would have bugged me... so upgrade it was.

Yeah considering the cost of the panels I'm in the same boat. But, that's cool after the upgrades I'm extremely happy with this case. Being on X99 tho I still don't feel like building a new system. So I'll probably run a custom loop similar to yours.

When I upgrade next whole platform I plan to try hardline.

so I am unhappy with the one tube run, so I ordered me a 45 degree fitting to replace the 90 with. If that doesnt look right, ill just put the barb itself into the block and call it good, but I think the 45 will give me the clearance and angle I need.
