recently i upgraded my old pc and i have a problem

i upgraded my old desktop with gpu and more ram and spent quite a lot of money thus i  used my old 250 gb hard disk  for a week my pc worked just fine but now it does not read the disk and this shows up (pic ) .........pls help me i Cannot afford a new harddisk and???pls help....

should i buy a used harddrive....

Isn't there a hard right there that's not plugged in right there 

 

 

 

is it finding it in the bios?

Check that it's plugged in properly and that the BIOS recognizes it. If it doesn't you may have a dead drive on your hands. Try contacting DriveSavers, I believe they provide free support. And just as a reminder; ALWAYS KEEP A BACKUP. Not enough people do this and it only leads to bad things.

try another sata cable first if you have one at hand. If not take a look at the Sata cable if it has a bent contact(s)
