R7 260x any good?

I'm on a pretty tight budget, but I still want to upgrade from my R7 250 (yes, non-X), so far it's held up quite nicely after 3 years, the most demanding game currently being The Crew.

 

Is upgrading to a 260x a good idea? Will it still last about 3 years? I found it for a really good deal on second hand so I really want to get it.

Not really, you could find a 750ti on ebay for like 50-70$ Maybe sell the current gpu you have and save up for 750ti

From what it seems like the 260X should be a tad bit faster than my GT 1030 and thats a decent card. So id say go for it

Performancedifference between the R9 270 (with or without X) to the R7 260X is microscopic, when compared to that between a display adapter (250) and graphics card (260X). buy the 260X.

750ti is just as fast as the 260x, not really worth saving extra for.
