Can i i5 750 run games like pubg?

so i have this old pc with a i5 750 and i was wondering if i could pop a gpu into it and if it could run pubg, i have a friend who plays the xbox version of pubg, and it's just terrible. the contolls are so bad and it spends most of it's time under 20 fps

i would have to buy a gpu, i have the entire pc aside from that though

Yes, you probably could, but it wouldnt be the best experience, with a 1060 probably around 45-75fps something around there.

ok, so still much better then he was getting on xbox, yea i was thinking getting a 1050ti

Probably around 45-60fps on lowish

I have one and if you Oc to 3.6-3.8 ghz you're good to go. Pretty easy.

 

edit: you still need a gpu of course, 1050ti or 1060 for 1080p is ok

Basically PUBG is shite whatever you run it on.

i5 750 is good enough, so whether the performance is good depends on the graphics card paired with it. 1050ti or equal in performance is the minimum for smooth 60fps gameplay, with every graphical settings turned all the way down.
