Setting up pc without case

I have all my hardware, which i set up on my mbo box. Received my case today but it was broken , so i have to wait another week n a half.
Can setting up my hardware like this for the next weeek and a half cause it to be damaged?

as long as your computer is on the motherboard box it should be fine, due to the motherboard box is anti-static just make sure it does not get knocked around. 

 

so yes u can setup the computer now with out the case just make sure when u do setup back up in a the case when u get the new one u make sure the HDD are back in the same Sata ports.

No, it absolutely will not damage your system. I have mine running caseless and have for well over a year and it has cause no failures.

 

Just note that you may have to worry about static and dust, but as long as you don't set it directly on carpet or touch the PCB, then it will not be much of an issue.

I put mother board stand offs on the top of the mother board box before worked good.

While you can do it I wouldn't advise doing so - especially if you have a cat or other pet that might get interested in the system, or a child.

 

Just consider the risk and cost of replacement vs the reward.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Not really... like work benches. Just beware pets, dust, and touching the circuits. (`fans)

just make sure it is in a safe place and away from any conductive materials and you will be set.

it's gonna be a week, not much of a dust issue imho, you should be fine, just beware of static as stated above.

As long as you leave it on the motherboard box and the gpu isn't slanting alot on its sides its fine. Just be careful of the spinning fans. :)
