Is it worth buying a more expensive ssd drive like Samsung evo and hyperx savage etc. , or look for the better value drives like Crucial and OCZ or even other brands?

For example Samsung evo 250GB in my country is 100 euro.

and Crucial 270GB is 85 euro.

20 gigs more for less money

The difference in write speed written on the specification is 20mb/s in favour for the evo.

MX300 is nice.

MyDigitalSSD units? OCZ?

But if you are coming from old hard drive any unit would do

I'd go with the MX500 (or 300 if they're cheaper), or if you have a healthy budget, then get something like a 960 EVO for those ever-so-slightly faster load times.

You have to think of an SSD like buying a car for city use.

Either one will get you from point A to point B at about the same speed. One just has the potential to go much faster for long trips.

The funny part is I just noticed that MX500 is even cheaper than MX300
