I'd always go with a single card over a dual card setup. SLI and Crossfire just aren't as good as they seem. In a lot of games, you'll end up getting only very slightly better performance than a single 780Ti. In some games you could actually end up with lower performance than a single 780Ti. The list of games that actually give you close to perfect scaling and double the performance of a single card is very low. Not to mention the stutter you'll more than likely experience as a result of poor SLI implementation in most games.
