The 1080ti backplate has been modded to make it compatible with the EK waterblock.

It is a bit flimsy, the way it flexes when you lift it could be an issue with a hardline tubed build.

Yeah, I was referring to the side panels. They're atrocious. Though I suppose on the plus side you can just bend them back. But still.

I'm selling one from a build I bought, and the panel gaps and flex just....aren't what I'd expect from such an expensive case. I was sad. Even though I had no intention of ever keeping it.

I love the look of the panel on the front. Just noticed you installed the Asus kit. That, and Lamptron fan controllers are the only things that make me consider getting a big case with drive bays.

My side panels aren't too bad, the back one sticks out a little on one corner but I have a heap of stuff hidden in the back which pushes on it.

Corsair did a concept of this case that was carbon fibre and tempered glass, but I dont think they are planning to release it.

Unfortunately the Asus frontbase isn't compatible with my current motherboard, I was using it on my old x79 build,I left it there because it looks better than the plastic bits that came with the case.

I actually have a story for this. So one time I lost a screw in my already fully built system so I ended up shaking my case upside down and even through all that rigor there were no leaks at all and I got the screw out.

  • 2 months later...

This is the first time I've seen a custom loop with a 780t, it looks amazing. I was thinking of putting a custom loop with mine, I think I'll use this as my reference :) Thanks
