So having recently found the website Massdrop.com I've been really looking at the FiiO E10,

That being said some comments on the device aren't what I expected.

Some of the reviews said that the device had a bit of a input lag that isn't very

noticeable but still there.

So my question is,

does anyone have any experience with the FiiO E10 and what other thoughts do you have on

the FiiO E10?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

It works, it's great, it can probably blow my ears out at max volume + gain even using the DT 990 pro's 250 ohm's. It's really good, and small, only complaint is you can't use it with your phone.

Its fine if it doesn't work with my phone, but were you able to notice any latency issues with the sound?

none whatsoever. I'm currently running it through a USB hub also to make things worse and it seems fine

There's latency with every everything, but it's not noticeable with most modern devices.

The biggest problem with FiiO products is the "Made in China" build quality. Usually it's not an issue, but FiiO does have an RMA process if it is.

I own the E10. It's a great little device, highly recommended. A couple things worth mentioning, however:

When set to 24-bit mode, there is a delay where the first split second or so of sounds are cut off. It doesn't affect a continuous audio stream, such as music; rather game or system sounds suffer. 16-bit mode isn't a problem, for some reason.

Also, when new, adjusting the volume pot produced some static; working the knob back and forth a few times cleared this up completely.

Lel.

They are quite expensive in Sweden, so buying one on sale in 'Murica from a company that'll ship it to you is the best option if you want an E10.

Just don't use 24 bit audio,  16bit still gives you better than CD quality SNR and once you get to 21bit audio your signal is bigger than the maximum SNR of even the best DSP's so it becomes a pointless exercise to use 24bit.
