Orestis88

Hi, I broke my hdd yesterday I tried to use diagnostic but it only got worse till I could get only to bios.

I decided to change and plug a new had but now I need a way to install back windows.

1) I don't have another pc

2) is it possible to download the system from an internet point and running it to bios from a flash drive?

3) will I need another product key?

4) if the options above are not available what can I do to reboot this laptop?

thx everyone and sorry for my poor english.

2) no

3) NO, your product keys are now bound to the Motherboard.

4) You will need to obtain a secondary computer for 10-15 minutes and a USB drive to download the media creation tool from Microsoft so you can re-install windows that way.

I am downloading the iso on my phone, do you think is doable to put it on a flash drive from a Chrome book or directly from a phone with a phone flash drive?

However you can get it and load it onto the flash drive. Whichever is easier for you.

I don't know of a way to do that. Sure, you can download it on the phone, but I don't know of any way to make it bootable. You can't just put the ISO on a flash drive. You're going to need to borrow a computer.

Main System: Phobos

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2
