YouTube and Twitch at Same Time Lags Out

Hey everyone,

I'm at this moment having a frustrating time trying to keep a Twitch stream running while muted as well as a YouTube video playing that I'm watching. If I have both going, they each lag out almost completely. Unfortunately I'm at a bit of a loss, as I have 200Mbps down and 35Mbps up, as well as 32GB of RAM, a GTX1080 and R7 1700- I should be able to play MANY video streams with all of that. Speedtest.net is reading all things normal, and monitoring my ethernet connection is showing I'm drawing about 20-30Mbps MAX.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this, is there maybe a limitation with something I'm not thinking of, such as Chrome..??

Chromes buffer might be maxed and is it in 2 different windows?

Yeah it's two separate windows. Any way to work around this?

How many gigs is your video card and how many monitors do you have

It's 8gb. I have three monitors.

sorry i didnt see that you are using chrome, but chrome offloads the rendering to the cpu if there is alot to render because chrome is the same on all systems with graphics cards or not so it will offload to the CPU

I'm using a Ryzen 7 1700, and it would still have issues handling that rendering..?

This should fix it

Enter chrome://settings in the address bar at the top of Chrome. Or, use the menu button at the top right of the browser to choose Settings.
Scroll to the very bottom of that page and choose the Advanced link.
Now scroll to the very bottom of that page of settings to find some other options.
Under the "System" heading, locate and enable the Use hardware acceleration when available option.
If you're told to relaunch Chrome, go ahead and do that by exiting any open tabs and then opening Chrome again.
When Chrome starts up, open chrome://gpu again and check that the words "Hardware accelerated" appear next to most of the items in the "Graphics Feature Status" heading

ok google decided that your gpu didn't need accelerating so use this in the address bar chrome://flags/

use the first one that comes up dont get scared by the disclamer i have it on my system for a while and no problem
