For some reason, embedded threads in peoples signatures are looking like this for me:

That's almost certainly a browser bug. What browser are you using?

I can reproduce it in Chrome (release, beta and canary), but not other browsers, and the code says that it shouldn't be visible, so it looks like it's a Chrome bug. I will look into it further and probably report the bug to the Chrome team if I'm able to find a MCVE. However, since it's still present in canary, it's likely to be at least 2 chrome releases before there's a chance of it being fixed.

This is already being tracked as Chrome Bug 814177, and will be fixed at least in the next major chrome version (M66) - a fix was committed today. I think they are considering fixing it in a minor release for the current stable version (65) as well.

I've deployed a workaround for this issue, as Chrome won't fix it for about another month.

You are doing god's work lol ?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
