Hello, what is up my dudes,

I am planning to build a new computer sometime in Summer 2018, and I'm saving up for it via lawn mowing (Thanks Linus for that idea!). I was playing around with PC picker and I have created this setup. I want to use this computer for gaming, and programming (I don't know if that changes anything). I would also like to lower the voltage use a bit. Thanks a lot

The Link is right here : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/n3VLkd

Your Friend, Burke

And a 10/100 ethernet card? That's straight out of 2007.

don't forget the Cisco wireless adaptor that doesn't even support 802.11n

>Sound card isn't needed. At $14, the onboard audio will be better.

>You don't need 32GB of RAM for your needs

>The wired NIC is slower than your onboard NIC

>Why do you need a wireless NIC if you're also adding a wired NIC?

>PSU is massive overkill

>Why a surveillance HDD? They're not the best for desktop use

>Do you need 12TB of storage?

>GPU is going to struggle with that monitor at decent settings.

>$120 on three fans

Ultimately, there's a lot of unneeded parts and places that could be saved on and money that would be better spent elsewhere.

I'm gonna be honest, nothing about this build make sense.

-you dont need 32GB of ram

-6TB surveillance drive? you dont need that much, and you dont want a surveillance drive

-no ssd?

-a 1060 paired with an 8700k? what?

-your choice of PSU is questionable at best

-sound cards are crap

-ethernet adapter? what? why?  your motherboards built in one is better

-wireless adaptor? wtf? it doesnt even support 802.11 N,  its significantly worth than whats built into your motherboard

-$120 for 3 fans?

-why an external drive?

How do Reavers clean their spears?
